Welcome to the Nordic Tribology Symposium (NORDTRIB 2026), taking place at Tampere University’s City Centre Campus on 9–12 June 2026.

NORDTRIB 2026 will highlight both fundamental and applied research in:

🔹 Lubrication
…across all scales—from nano to macro.

We warmly invite scientific contributions covering experimental studies, modelling, materials development, surface engineering, and industry-driven research addressing real-world tribological challenges. Moreover, there is a special track for ocean tribology.

Selected papers will have the opportunity to be published in leading journals, including:
