OTLC Conference 2026 Successfully Held in Oostende
The OTLC Conference 2026 was successfully held in Oostende from 20 to 22 April 2026, bringing together researchers, industry representatives, and experts in marine tribology to exchange knowledge and address key challenges related to friction, wear, lubrication, and material performance in marine environments.
The event provided a valuable platform for scientific discussion, networking, and collaboration, with contributions covering a wide range of topics relevant to sustainable, reliable, and energy-efficient ocean systems.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the COST Action CA23155 consortium, the University of Twente, Bond voor Materialenkennis, and Prof. Patrick De Baets and his team for their valuable support in organizing and delivering this event.
We also thank all participants for their insightful presentations, active engagement, and constructive discussions throughout the conference. Their contributions helped make the event both productive and inspiring.
